Christine O’Donnell dabbled in witchcraft? So what if she did it was a long time ago when she made the comment on Bill Maher’s show “Politically Incorrect”. Christine O’Donnell supposedly dabbled in witchcraft during high school “witch” by the way was not recent but years ago.
Teenagers do far worse now in high school than years ago. Nowadays it is drugs, alcohol and lots of sex all mixed. When Christine O’Donnell was a teenager, she was no different then any other teenager. Teens will be teens and there is no changing it. America cannot hold her comments over a decade ago against her just because she mentioned witchcraft. America does not live in the “witch hunt days” of years ago.
Christine O’Donnell has made a joke out of this situation and she has every right to do so. During a Republican picnic in Delaware held Sunday Christine O’Donnell jokingly stated, “How many of you did not hang out with questionable folks in high school? There’s been no witchcraft since. If there was, Karl Rove would be a supporter now.”
Mike Pence and Karl Rove want Christine O’Donnell to explain her “witchcraft” comments. Karl Rove stated on Fox News, “In southern Delaware, where there are a lot of church going people, they’re probably going to want to know what that was all about.” However, even churchgoers know how teens were back then and now. True churchgoers will not judge people for their past and future comments or even mistakes they might make along the way. Even in the public eye or in public office.
Americans will be voting this year and it is one of the most important elections. By voting America will tell the government how they feel about the shape of the economy and where they think it should or should not be gong. Vote for whom you think will do the best job for getting this country back on track. Do not vote against someone for making a comment about witchcraft. Many people feel it is not that big a deal. Maybe Karl Rove and Mike Pence are making a big deal out of it for their own political gain. If they are, is that the right way to go about receiving votes? No, it is not the right way. If enough digging happened maybe, Christine O’Donnell could find something “politically incorrect” about Rove and Pence to use against then during the campaign. No matter how you look at it, campaigning should be fair with no mud slinging of any type. Do not judge Christine O’Donnell because she dabbled in witchcraft.
As a joke for you folks that hate witchcraft or the thought of witchcraft visit, Witchcraft the wonderful world of the modern day witch.
