What You Will Need for Reindeer Ornaments
Getting Started with Your Reindeer Christmas Tree Ornament
To get started, you will need to use your hand, or a child’s hand to trace on a piece of construction paper. Brown construction paper would work best for this craft. Trace a hand on the construction paper and then cut it out. Once you have it cut out, you can trace the hand on construction paper to create more. Once you have them all cut out, you can begin decorating them.
Decorating Your Reindeer Christmas Tree Ornament
You are now ready to decorate your ornament. This is where you can get creative. If you do not have much time to put into the craft, you can use markers to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth on the reindeer. If you do have time to spend in it, you can use glitter, or glitter glue to create the nose, eyes, and mouth. You can also outline the reindeer in glitter glue to give it that sparkle.
If you want to get even more creative, you can use white paper to cut the reindeer out and let your child color it with crayons. They may like this even better. You could use a marker for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Then the child can color them in.
Putting Your Reindeer Ornament Together
To put your ornament together, you will need to get a clothespin, and glue the reindeer to the clothespin. Sit it aside and let it dry. If you have more, glue the clothespins to them and let them dry. When they are finished drying, you can clip the reindeer ornament to your Christmas tree.
