Considering taking someone to the cinema as a first date? This may not be as be as terrible as people often say. Enjoying a movie with your date is an easy way to break the ice and is not as risky as trying to be a witty conversationalist. Below are some romantic, first date ideas for those of you who live near Beaumont, California.
Before you catch the movie, you and your date can take a little drive up to Oak Glen where the two of you can enjoy a visit the School House Museum & Park, sampling apples and other homegrown fruits at a number of different farms and orchards, or shopping at the local shops. This gives you and your date the opportunity to discuss what movie you may or may not want to watch.
Keep in mind, what kind of movie you want to see can tell a lot about who you are. Running a few different movie choices by your date would definitely be an important thing to do; this will ensure that you don’t end up taking your date to a movie that she cannot bare to watch. Two examples of bad movies choices currently at the box office to steer clear of would be Saw 3D or Jackass 3D. You don’t want your date to be terrified nor do you want her getting grossed out and start thinking that you too are a Jackass.
If you both can agree on the same movie, that is a positive sign. If for some reason your date leaves the decision to you, I would suggest sticking with a mellow type of movie such as a comedy. A couple of good movie choices currently at the box office would be The Social Network , Life as We Know It or Due Date.
Once the movie is over, dinner becomes the platform for conversation and this is a great way for your date not to feel as if the first date has to be an interview. Discussing the movie can lead to an interesting conversation and could very well serve as the foundation for that relationship you have been hoping for. A great restaurant in town that is low key and doesn’t seem to ever have a huge wait list is The Grand Oak. It is located on the north end of Highland Springs Avenue at the Highland Springs Resort. Inside the restaurant there is a small lounging area next to a fire place, a bar room and an area where antiques are displayed. The Grand Oak is a unique and historical setting where you can a peaceful romantic evening.
