As the parent of a 22-month old, I am dreading the day I send him to preschool. How will he take a nap without the comfort of his room? What if they don’t understand what he is asking for?
All parents go though these worries and this can make preschool hard for parents and children alike. Sylvia Ford is hoping to help the situation when she speaks at the Mountain View Library on Tuesday, October 26.
Ford will lead the “Smooth Transitions into Preschool” program from 7pm until 8:30pm. Ford is an Early Childhood Consultant and will be teaching parents tools to help make the transition as smooth as possible, while encouraging their personal growth.
The program is free and only for adults. To register, contact the Library at (650) 903-6897.
