Former President Clinton, met by generous applause, spoke to a crowd of nearly one thousand at the New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn Daily Eagle reports the crowd waited with baited breathe for the rally to begin. MCs led chants, DJs spun a mix of 70s and 80s dance music mixed with contemporary hip-hop.
A series of introductory speakers warmed the crowd, including Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz who recently regained his voice after a medical operation. Russell Holtzer, the President of City Tech encouraged the crowd to make it to the polls on election day-a common theme among all the speakers.
Like the majority of his gubernatorial campaign, Cuomo let Clinton and the others do a significant amount of the talking. A smart move. The more press-magnet Paladino talks, the less the general public seems to like him.
