Clinton Hill resident and star of the HBO series Entourage, Adrian Grenier, has turned the cameras on the paparazzi. His new film, Teenage Paparazzo, premieres September 27th on HBO.
The film analyzes both fame and the roll of celebrity in contemporary society by telling the tale of 13-year-old paparazzo Austin Visschedyk. The film debuted at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival this January and includes conversations with Alec Baldwin, Lewis Black, Noam Chomsky, Matt Damon, Whoopi Goldberg, and Paris Hilton.
When asked by the New York Times community blog, The Local, about the difference in attitude towards celebrity between Los Angeles and Clinton Hill, Grenier responded “I appreciate the grounded nature of the people who live here.”
