I’m not exactly Christian, however I do teach Christianity as well as a diversity of other religions. I was ordained as a Reverend through the Universal Life Church. My main beliefs revolve around Buddhism, Hindu, Wicca, and Christianity. No matter where my beliefs fall I guarantee you that even I believe in the soul. Everything has a soul/spirit. Everything needs love. I believe the soul/spirit doesn’t just live in one place within the body of whatever it exists in. It exists as a whole. It is what we do on this earth or this universe that determines whether we are good or evil.
Heaven or hell, whatever; people shouldn’t worry so much about heaven or hell. What they should worry about is how they effect their environment with their actions, how their soul is affected by their own actions, and how their actions affect other people. The big deal is the worse you treat others and your environment the worse you look to others. It may not show in your appearance, but people can usually tell what type of soul you have by the way you treat others. It is important to treat others well if you wish to be remembered well. It is important to act accordingly to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you want others to judge you because of your religious views than go ahead and judge others on their religious views and such. Just remember that you are only spreading hate and despair. When you start judging others, you add weights to your heart and soul/spirit. I’m not a true Christian, but my soul is light as a feather because I allow no anger into my heart or mind no matter how badly others treat me. It isn’t the only reason I feel so good. I feel good about myself because I do not judge others for who they are, what they are, where they come from, what religion they have taken for themselves, or how much they make.
It doesn’t matter what religion you are. It is how you treat each other that determine the effects on the human soul. In consideration of the soul we need to stop flaunting religious preferences and just agree to disagree, but love each other in spite of all our differences-be it color, religion, sex, money, whatever. When we can do this, our souls will finally strive and flourish as one united entity. May God/Goddess, or whatever you believe in guide you, and help us all to listen to each other’s similarities, without fighting about the differences. These are the things that take a toll on our society and the human soul. Instead of fighting about who is right and who is wrong we really need to work out overlooking our differences and looking at only that which is the same.
