Do you have a set of baby boy-girl twins? If they are still infants, there is a good chance this is their first Halloween. Wouldn’t it be fun to dress them in coordinating Halloween costumes this year? Might as well do it while you still can; you never know how they will react to dressing in matching outfits once they are older.
Quarterback and Cheerleader – With football season in full swing, quarterback and cheerleader Halloween costumes will be great for the babies of football fans. Even better – find a costume that represents your favorite team!
Lemon and Lime – This is an easy costume for you to make at home. Dress your boy-girl twins in bright green and yellow onesies and keep their little heads warm by wearing matching hats on them.
Pair of Dice – Many people make their dice costumes out of cardboard boxes, but that would be uncomfortable of young babies. Make your babies’ Halloween costumes out of white onesies; draw squares on the fronts and backs using rulers and a black permanent marker, then draw dots on each square to represent numbers on the dice.
Monkey See and Monkey Do – Buy matching monkey costumes for your infants and label one with “Monkey See” and one with “Monkey Do” signs to ensure people “get it”.
Fireman and Dalmatian – Since Dalmatians are typically associated with firefighters, it is the obvious companion to go with your fire-baby.
DoubleMint Twins – Have you ever seen the DoubleMint gum commercial featuring sets of twins? Well, why not dress your boy-girl babies as DoubleMint Twins for Halloween? And I mean to actually dress them as DoubleMint sticks of gum.
Woody and Jessie – These are two of the characters in the Toy Story movies. If you are not familiar with the story, Woody is the cowboy doll and Jessie is a cowgirl doll.
Wizard of Oz – Everyone knows the story of the Wizard of Oz. Choose two of the characters in this story and dress your boy-girl twins as Dorothy, Toto, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, or the Scarecrow.
M&Ms – This is another easy Halloween costume to make yourself. Dress the babies in two different M&M colored onesies – red, brown, blue, yellow – and cut the letter “M” out of white felt. Glue or sew the letters onto the front of each onesie.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 – This is a popular Halloween costume idea for twins, especially with infants. Dress your babies in red onesies and label each with “Thing 1” and “Thing 2” signs. Place matching blue hats on their little heads.
Enjoy dressing your baby boy-girl twins up in matching Halloween costumes while you can. They will grow up quickly! Savor this moment (and take a photo or two), and have a safe Halloween with your children.
