The first article I read this morning was by an AC pal, Leroy Coffie (read it here). It got me to thinking about my top five articles, which range from 1000 to 4800 views each. Two of them, Ring of Fire and NASCAR team owner Jack Roush, are from AC assignments. The others were inspired by my own curiousity. Here they are:
Rolls Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster: Still a Classic
NASCAR Team Owner Jack Roush in Plane Crash
Wayne Newton’s New Landscaping Theme
Ring of Fire: Ancient Circle of Volcanoes comes calling again
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie tie the knot
Then Leroy continued to discuss the articles we thought would be successful, but have hidden in the background. I am still new enough to be sorting the things that make a large audience stand up and notice, and also new enough to feel that if a hundred people review an article, that is good. Following are the five articles that have yet to hit 100 total views, and their numbers today.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 61
Kindle DX 52
Kharga Oasis 49
VA Reviews Possible Coverage of New Illnesses for Gulf War Vets 58
From Bike to Trike (Harley Three-Wheel Motorcycle) 44
I will accept his challenge. I am going to include these five in my Featured Content for a week, and see if they can beat the personal goal of 100 views. SEO, title, subject, name, author: there are so many factors that call to the ones searching the web. Please provide comments or suggestions, if you want.
Good luck to everyone, and I’ll update the results of this experiment next week.
I’m looking forward to your 5 best, and 5 you thought would be there, also.
