You have creatively visualized all your life. Think back to your childhood. By imagining, couldn’t you become a trucking man, a ballerina or world famous author at will? That’s all creative visualization really is – pretend power. As we grow in years, our pretend power is slowly conditioned out of us.
Perhaps you’ve tried to visualize and manifest material things with little or no success.
If so, I dedicate my little primer of Creative Visualization to you. I wrote it in question and answer form, so that you might “visualize” we are all together. The questions are real, which I selected from those ask by my beginning Esoteric students.
Welcome to the Associated Content from Yahoo auditorium. Settle in a cushy seat and get comfortable. Whatever you do – don’t think about lemons.
Shall we begin?
What is creative visualization?
To creatively visualize, use your imagination to tap into your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind acts as a conduit of your wants and needs, by linking with Universal Energy to manifest your desires into everyday reality.
How does creative visualization work?
Using pretend power of our imagination, we make a thought form or mind-picture of precisely what we want.
What if I can’t see pictures in my mind?
That’s a good question. We aren’t all visual. As long as you have a definite desire and focus on it with clear intent, your subconscious mind will tap into the Universal Storehouse of Supply.
Where is a good place to start creative visualizing?
Start where you are right now. Do you have a pressing problem? Write it down. Try to creatively visualize the best potential outcome. (Note: Most people work backwards, imagining the worst possible scenario. The subconscious is literal and will set about to manifest what it thinks you want…the worst possible scenario.)
Another common error in visualization is impatience. Don’t quit! Put your attention on the desired outcome, as it if already is. In time, your problem will resolve as if by magic.
How do I creatively visualize a material object?
You must give yourself permission to manifest matter. If you believe you are unworthy of claiming your desires, you will not be able to raise your vibration high enough to manifest material objects. Energy follows thought.
The essence of the universe is energy. Different forms of energy vibrate at different speeds. Energy attracts similar energy, like a magnet.
Can you give me an Example Bonnie?
To creatively visualize, we always begin with a thought form. For example, you are out of milk. You think, “I think I’ll go to the store. I need milk.”
The thought form (you need milk) is followed by energy or an action (you go to the store).
This is manifestation at its simplest, to show you that energy always follows thought. The thought form you make is similar to a dress pattern. For instance, you want a new dress. By looking at the dress pattern, you can visualize the finished product in your mind. To manifest a dress in your physical reality, you will apply action or the physical energy (gathering material, supplies and sewing the dress).
How does the act of Creative Visualization Manifest Something from Nothing?
You can’t manifest something from nothing. The universe acts as a mirror to radiate back to us the kind of energy we send out. You will attract what you put your energy on.
To effectively manifest form by using creative visualization is a long process. As you practice, you may find that deep negative concepts are released and decide to set about to change them. Because fear blocks what you want. Your Universal Mirror will become cloudy. Negative attitude inhibits your power to manifest.
You may find it necessary to first work on yourself before becoming proficient at creatively visualizing thought forms and manifesting them into matter or physical reality.
Once we loose and let go of limiting beliefs, the clouds in our mirror dissolve and a space opens to manifest our happiness. The spiritual law that “nature abhors a vacuum and seeks to fill it” will be set into motion, when you know what you want, ask for it with pure intent and make a mind picture of it.
Do you remember earlier, when I told you “whatever you do, don’t’ think about lemons”? Did you immediately smell a lemon or taste a bitter taste? Did you stop reading and make lemonade? Or, did you go to the store and buy lemons for your tea?
You knew what you wanted, made a mind picture of it and put energy in motion to obtain it! You have creatively visualized all your life.
Life is Energy
Don’t hoard your energy. Give, share, appreciate what you have. Remember that the blessings already are. Take your time, be patient and keep practicing.
Life is energy. Energy flows from us and like energy returns to us. This is the only “secret” you need to know about creative visualization.
