The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results in Week 7 shook things up again. Now that the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has only three weeks left to compete, the final results are on the horizon. Another contender was sent packing on Tuesday, as Rick Fox was voted out despite high scores on Monday. With the field down to five, and with two straight likely contenders eliminated, it appears no one is safe. Yet following this week’s results, the Dancing With the Stars lineup could have a more clear cut pecking order again soon.
After potential finalist Audrina Patridge left in Week 6, potential sleeper Rick Fox was taken out as well. Although Bristol Palin, Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey have weaker bodies of work, Fox was the one who got eliminated. This may have made things a bit easier for the frontrunners left.
It appears that the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has two obvious favorites again, after the Week 7 results. Brandy topped the leaderboard for the third straight week, yet this time, the show’s former leader joined her. Jennifer Grey bounced back into form just in time, to reestablish herself as a frontrunner.
With Grey leading for Season 11’s first half, and Brandy emerging during the second, it would seem that these two are the co-favorites now. Meanwhile, Palin, Warner and Massey have done more to stay alive than they have to actually contend.
Since several sleepers have been knocked out in recent results, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup now looks like it did to start Season 11. Like in the early going, there are one or two obvious leaders, while the rest are long shots to actually win.
Despite all of the surprises in the last few weeks, order may now be restored before long. Unless Palin, Warner and Massey make bigger moves soon, none of them may become serious threats to actually win. They have all been up and down throughout Season 11, and could have a bad week again in no time. With the field now down to five, one poor performance would finally finish them.
Massey has struggled after a strong start, while Warner and Palin have alternated between good and bad routines. Palin may have enough of a fanbase to survive longer, but the two Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup leaders might be too strong for her supporters to outvote.
Since the last few seasons have been so predictable, having actual suspense in the last few weeks has added much needed intrigue. But all that the recent results might have done is clear the way for Brandy and Grey to reach the finals.
Massey, Palin and Warner will try to challenge that view, as they and the Dancing With the Stars lineup return for Week 8 on Monday, at 8 pm est on ABC.
