The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results won’t conclude for three weeks. Yet the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has faced results that might make the end obvious. When Season 11 started, it appeared that Jennifer Grey was the clear victor, with everyone else battling for second. Then when Audrina Patridge climbed up, it seemed that she and Grey would battle it out at the end. But with Patridge gone, and with results going against other contenders, the new perception is that the Dancing With the Stars lineup will come down to Grey vs Brandy.
Patridge was knocked out to almost everyone’s surprise in Week 6, but Rick Fox’s elimination this week was even more notable. Fox appeared safe as a sleeper pick, yet voters thought differently. But these results left the field with two likely contenders, and three iffy challengers.
Now the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup is down to Grey, Brandy, Bristol Palin, Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey. Palin, Warner and Massey have come much closer to elimination throughout Season 11, yet have managed to survive. In particular, Palin and Warner have survived some rotten weeks, since someone had usually done worse.
But now that there are no more bottom feeders left, the margin for error has shrunk – and has been claiming potential contenders. However, the loss of Patridge and Fox have left the field clearer for Brandy and Grey.
Although the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has mostly had Grey on top, the results have favored Brandy in recent weeks. Brandy had the best judges scores for two straight weeks, and tied for the top marks with Grey this Monday.
After a much needed high score this Monday, Grey is now back on top following some doubts. But Brandy is still right there with her, and has emerged as the next best favorite. It seems clear that they are the best two left, and could very well face off in the final – especially with their remaining competition.
The others left on the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup have rarely been considered as threats to win. Palin and Warner have just struggled to stay alive up to now, while Massey’s results have been sliding lately. Therefore, the odds of one of these three making the final two are getting longer, even with Patridge and Fox gone.
Season 11 had been extremely predictable until the last few weeks, and now it might become predictable again. The most dangerous threats to Brandy and Grey seem to be gone, so their final showdown appears inevitable. Of course, some expect – or fear – that Palin’s supporters will push her into the finals, while Warner has a devoted fan base of his own.
Nevertheless, Brandy and Grey clearly lead the way in the Dancing With the Stars lineup – until one of them slips, or one of the other three makes a bigger move. Their next chance comes starting Monday, at 8 pm est on ABC.
