The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results have been surprising lately. But the arguments around the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results are going beyond that, thanks to Bristol Palin. Season 11 has turned into one long conspiracy theory in some circles, since Palin is in the final four despite some low scores. Therefore, some fans of the show, and foes of the Palin family, are convinced that either the show or the Tea Party are conspiring to alter the results. Until the Dancing With the Stars lineup dumps Palin, these theories stand to keep growing – especially if she isn’t dumped.
Weeks ago, it looked like Palin’s time on the show was finished, as she was slipping badly after a good start. However, Florence Henderson, Audrina Patridge, Rick Fox and Kurt Warner have been eliminated instead, leaving Palin as the most unlikely final four contestant.
Because the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results keep sparing Palin, the outrage is starting to grow. Many were upset that Palin was even in Season 11 to start with, given her name and her lack of fame beyond her family. Now the complaints against her and the show are growing with each week.
Palin said just last week that she was exhausted and wanted to go home, yet she is still competing. Even if she still wants to go, there are clearly enough voters around to stop her from leaving. The question is who those voters are, and how far they are willing to take their support.
Those disgusted with the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results are convinced that a Republican/Tea Party surge is behind it. Support from Republicans, and Sarah Palin fans, is being credited/blamed for Bristol’s survival. In fact, many are already convinced that they will make Palin the Season 11 champion, despite Brandy and Jennifer Grey being favored all year.
If that actually happens, it will likely make major political and entertainment headlines – and inspire countless charges of rigged voting. Without a doubt, the show would have its biggest ratings and buzz to date, although it won’t all be for the best reasons.
It seems almost inevitable that the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will be made of Grey, Brandy and Palin in the final week, at least. But if Brandy or Grey is voted out next week, instead of Kyle Massey, then the conspiracy arguments will be impossible to drown out. Even if Palin is finally eliminated next week, the damage and outrage has already been done in some circles.
Will that outrage keep going up until the very end, or will Palin’s so-called conspirators be stopped before then? She and the rest of the Dancing With the Stars lineup will go onto the semis regardless, starting Monday at 8 pm est on ABC.
