The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup is already in a rollercoaster. So far, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has gone through an opening week spectacle, controversy throughout Week 2, and a more muted Week 3. What end of the emotional spectrum will Week 4 fall under? Whatever happens, it will be an historic event for the show, as it introduces a brand new theme. Those still in the Dancing With the Stars lineup hope that it will help them separate themselves from the competition.
Things have been tightening up a bit, as Jennifer Grey was not the best dancer of the week last Monday. Audrina Patridge has charged into contention, with Brandy, Rick Fox and Kyle Massey not far behind. Tonight, Grey hopes to reestablish herself on top, although each contestant will get more than one shot to leave.
The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will step out to either the Argentine tango, or the rumba. What’s more, it is the first double score week of the season, as the contestants will get a chance to score up to 60 points. In addition, they will be performing to a brand new format as well.
For the first time in show history, acoustic music will serve as part of the soundtrack. For the occasion, the stage and dance floor have been revamped to provide a more “intimate seating.” This first “Acoustics Night” will leave the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup under an even greater glare.
Thus far, the group has started to separate more clearer between the contenders and pretenders. Kurt Warner, Bristol Palin and Patridge have looked like both at various points, although Warner and Patridge got new momentum last week while Palin floundered. Tonight, Palin, The Situation and Florence Henderson are favored to place at the bottom, as they fight to stay alive.
With David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton and Margaret Cho gone from the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup, it will get harder for struggling dancers to escape elimination. But they hope that they can improve, or that someone else will slip up to take the heat off.
Patridge will try to prove that she can match up to the leaders for more than a week, while Brandy, Fox and Massey look to take a bigger step up the leaderboard. The 2010 Dancing With the Stars lineup will have a lot to do tonight, and has more than a few chances to impress, starting tonight at 8 pm est on ABC.
