In the third week of Dancing With the Stars, the show was captivating and emotional, though from different contestants than one might expect. This week’s show was an improvement for most everyone on the show, and here are some notable performances.
Jennifer Grey started off the night on Dancing With the Stars with a samba, which she did well, but did not have the excitement and confidence of which she seemed to have during last week’s performance. She still received decent scores from the judges.
Florence Henderson performed the most emotional and touching dance. She lost her husband eight years ago, to whom she had been married to for twenty. She danced an emotional dance dedicated to her late husband, and she was graceful as she performed. One interesting fact about her is that she performed “Sound of Music” for fifteen months on Broadway when first starting out as an actress.
Kurt Warner is a handsome and fun contestant to watch on Dancing With the Stars every week and this week’s performance was no exception. He always is smiling, speaks well and carries himself in an impressive posture for being such a tall man. To get him to move softly and delicately he had a tea party with his daughters. Wearing a tiara and sipping from dainty teacups with his girls definitely helped him with his performance. What a good looking, down to earth man!
Audrina Partridge danced impressively with her waltz. She poured emotion into her performance and has really evolved as a dancer. But the moment that was truly entertaining was that of her partner Tony keeping his promise to wax his legs (since last week’s scores were not three 8’s!). He was a good sport and definitely has a greater appreciation for keeping body parts hair free.
Prior to her performance, the clips for Bristol Palin showed she was giggling through most of her time practicing with her partner Mark. It almost seemed as though it was a nervous laugh, and when it was her time to perform, it showed she was not as comfortable this week. She seemed to being clinging to her partner this week, hanging on for support. The judges were a bit disappointed, which led Bristol to appear to be disappointed with herself. Hopefully next week, if she remains on Dancing With the Stars, she will continue to improve and learn to believe in herself.
The Situation, as it were, actually improved this week! He seemed to not take himself so seriously and understand Dancing With the Stars is not solely focused on his abdominal muscles. If that process continues he could stay on the show for a longer duration.
The final performance was give by Rick Fox. He was HOT! He is a true gentleman during preparation, practice and in competition on Dancing With the Stars. For such a tall man, he has handled himself quite well during his sexy dance and took control of the dance floor this week. He will be the one for everyone to watch, with or without his shirt off. He is the new “situation” to keep track of if there is one to follow!
Dancing With the Stars continues to draw viewers in for dancing, curiosity, entertainment, and to see what could possibly happen during live television. The results show tomorrow night will include Michael Bolton performing. He was announced this evening as a last minute replacement for Susan Boyle, who has a severe throat infection. Tune in to see what will happen next on Dancing With the Stars!
