The Dancing with the Stars Season 11 cast is finally complete! So who out of the season 11 cast of Dancing with the Stars has the best chance at winning? It’s actually hard to say this year with no pop stars used to learning dance routines or athletic ice skaters competing, but I’m kind of actually leaning towards David Hasselhoff.
So why do I think David Hasselhoff has the best chance at winning season 11 of Dancing with the Stars? Because of his dancing experience, of course! Sure he was busting a move in ‘Revenge of the Cheerleaders’ long before his buff ‘Baywatch’ days on the beach, but I bet he’s still got it. Want to see what I mean? Check out this YouTube clip of the Hoff trying to take off some wacky wing-flapping. And if a signature move like that isn’t enough to win season 11 of Dancing with the Stars, his grand finale definitely tops it: playing the world’s most awkward air guitar.
So who else has a chance at winning season 11 of Dancing with the Stars, besides David Hasselhoff? Well, even if she doesn’t win the show, comedian Margaret Cho made one smart career move in choosing to bust a move. While I think having no fear of making a fool out of herself will really help her look comfortable and natural on the dance floor, where she really wins is with the limitless comedic material she’ll be provided with as she encounters the rest of the season 11 Dancing with the Stars cast. If Margaret Cho is smart, she’ll worry less about her dancing and more about getting the scoop on her competition, namely The Situation, Bristol Palin, and Audrina Patridge.
Of course the audience will be rooting for ‘Dirty Dancing’ star Jennifer Grey (maybe now that she’s 50 she can finally be forgiven for getting that nose job), and it would also be nice to see Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson prove that that the groovy 76-year-old can still groove. R&B crooner Brandy might benefit from her experience in the music biz, but she’s no Pussycat Doll.
Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner and retired NBA star Rick Fox could prove to be forces to be reckoned with on the dance floor, although I’m not too sure about Disney star Kyle Massey (maybe he’ll at least draw a few younger viewers to the show).
Singer Michael Bolton also has a shot, if his moves are as smooth as his voice, but I have a feeling ‘The Hills’ reality show star Audrina Patridge is going to look like an android. Bristol Palin might surprise us, and I’m sure the Situation is going to try his best to stay on the show by going shirtless as much as possible.
But the Sitaution does provide one of the show’s most interesting situations: will he try to hook up with his dance partner? And what about Audrina Patridge or Bristol Palin? I can only imagine how Mama Moose would feel about that pairing (oh, but what a reality show it would make!). Let’s just hope that season 11 of Dancing with the Stars turns out to be the train wreck that it has the potential to become, because I don’t think we’re going to see too many stellar performances this time around.
