Dancing with the Stars Season 11 has begun. Did this so called celebrity cast and their partners survive? What happened on The Dancing with the Stars week 1 September 20?
There was a whole lot of poise, awkwardness, and sex within this group. The premiere kicked off with a bang, and left on good note. Who’s on top? Who will be the first to go home? Let’s see what exploded on the first night of DWTS.
The Situation and Karina Smirnoff– This very sexy couple took the chance and danced the Cha Cha Cha to the song “Break Your Heart.” This hip song by Taio Cruz got The Situation really moving somewhat on the dance floor. I think Mike was trying to send a message to Karina. Part of the song goes “There’s no point trying to hide, No point trying to erase me.” Hmm, will we be seeing a lot of The Situation? Due to his fan base probably.

Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower- What a very elegant performance. Michael and Chelsie performed The Viennese Walz to an amazing song called “Life After You.” This song by Daughtry was an awesome choice. The dance showed elegance, poise, and definitely class, but at times they struggled. The song “Life After You” for all that don’t know is about loving your partner, and if you don’t have them in your life then you have nothing at all. This is how I see the song to be.

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson- The sex comes out from the “Hoff” David and Kym rocked the dance floor with their Cha Cha Cha moves and got the fans really excited. The song choice was “Sex Bomb” by the one and only Tom Jones. The Hoff couldn’t get a better song choice than this, it was perfect as for entertainment, but dancing not so good.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke- This performance was actually quite impressive. For being the very first week, this couple showed a lot of promise with their right on moves and superior poise. The song was “Crazy”, and the dance was the Viennese Waltz.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer– Kyle being the youngest of the group actually pulled off his first dance The Cha Cha Cha fairly well. He moved on the dance floor to the smash hit “My First Kiss” by 30H!3 ft Kesha. Kyle has some great moves, and he definitely kept up with the beat. This kid got it going on.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas- I have to say I was totally surprised by her moves. When the stripping of the clothes came, I thought this was going to be another Kate Gosselin routine. Bristol and Mark took on the Cha Cha Cha and the song choice was “Mama Told Me Not To Come.” Bristol has some hidden talent that can actually get her far in this competition if she relaxes and loosens up a bit. Not too shabby for first time.
