The 11th season of ABC’s popular celebrity ballroom dance competition ran from September to November 2010. There were plenty of surprise eliminations and the biggest shock was that teen-mom Bristol Palin’s stiff dancing style made it to the finals.

Here’s a wrap up and results of each week.
Week 1 “It’s a situation, Situation”
The dances were the waltz and cha cha. David Hasselhoff and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino were tied at the bottom with the lowest scores. Jennifer Grey, Brandy and Kyle Massey were the top three highest scorers.
Auf Wiedersehen: David Hasselhoff was eliminated.
Week 2: “Bionic Bunny“
The dances were the jive and quickstep. Jennifer Grey and Audrina Patridge were the top scorers. Michael Bolton got the lowest score of 12, followed by the other two low scorers, The Situation and Margaret Cho.
Who let the dog out: Michael Bolton was eliminated.
Week 3: “Bedtime Stories“
The dances were the foxtrot, samba and waltz and the couples had to tell a story through the dances. Audrina Patridge got the highest score followed by Brandy, Rick Fox and Jennifer Grey with a three-way tie for second highest score. Margaret Cho and Bristol Palin were the two lowest scorers.
Gay old time: Margaret Cho was eliminated (even though she said her dance was the “gayest thing” to ever happen on DWTS).
Week 4: “Stripped“
The dances were the rumba and tango, danced to a stripped-down acoustic set. The couples received two scores: technical and performance. Jennifer Grey got the highest score by far followed by Brandy and Audrina. The Situation and Bristol Palin got the two lowest scores.
Bounced pecs: The Situation was eliminated.
Week 5: “TV Theme Night“
This week the couples danced the quickstep, tango, rumba, foxtrot, or jive to an old television show jingle. Brandy and Jen Grey got the highest scores. Bristol Palin, Kyle Massey and Florence Henderson had the three lowest scorers.
Oh Greg: Florence Henderson was eliminated
Week 6: “Rock Me Amadeus“
This week the couples danced the paso doble or tango to a rock and roll theme. There was also a dance off “4 minute marathon” were couples received additional points. Brandy and Audrina got the two top scores while Kurt Warner and Bristol Palin were the two lowest scorers.
Emotions bite the dust: Audrina Patridge was eliminated.
Week 7: “The 200”
This week was a celebration of the 200th episode of the show. The couples recreated a memorable dance from previous seasons plus were split into Team Apolo Ohno or Team Kristi Yamaguchi to compete in a cha-cha group dance. The couples received individual scores plus a group score for their cha-cha competition. Brandy and Jen Grey tied for the top score. Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey were the bottom two.
Fox trot: Rick Fox was eliminated.
Week 8: “Instant Dance“
The final five couples did two dances, but the second dance was called an “instant dance” because they weren’t given their music until 45 minutes before they had to dance it. Brandy and Jen Grey tied for the highest score with Kyle Massey just one point behind. Bristol and Kurt Warner had the lowest scores.
Put the frying pan hands down: Kurt Warner was eliminated.
Week 9: “Final Four“
The last four couples performed a latin and ballroom dance. Jennifer Grey scored a perfect score of 60 followed by Kyle Massey with a 58, Brandy with a 57 and Bristol Palin with 53.
Pistol whipped: Brandy was eliminated.
Week 10: “Final Dances“
The remaining three finalists danced a redemption dance and freestyle. Jennifer Grey again received a perfect score of 60. Kyle Massey scored 56 while Bristol got a 52.
The winner: Jennifer Grey. Kyle Massey went home second while Bristol took third.
