You can decide what will be displayed and what will not be displayed when the article or articles are published. For example, you can allow the date of the publication to be published or not. You can allow ratings for the article or turn the ratings off. You have full control over your article. In this guide, I am going to show you how to use article listing option in TikiWiki CMS.
You will need to start out by logging into your admin area if you are not already logged in. Then you will need to make sure you have the articles module activated on your site. If you have already published articles, then this module is active. If you have not published articles yet, you will need to activate it before moving on. If you need help with the activation, place see my guide on creating new articles in TikiWiki.
Now you will need to open the article listing properties. To do this, you will first need to click the List Articles link under the Article folder on the left side of the page. When the list of articles load, you will need to click the wrench icon at the top of the page.
On the following page, you will see the General Settings tab and the Article Listings tab. Click the Article Listings tab to load that section of the settings. This is where you will change the information that is allowed on your articles.
On this page, you will see the things that can be allowed and what you have control over. You can check the box next to the options of your choice. Some of the boxes are checked by default. If you do not want these to be on your article, you will need to uncheck them. Once you have the settings the way you want them, you can click the Change Preferences button to save your changes.
