In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps of applying effects to your photos and I will show you how to edit the photos you have added to your scrapbook page in Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact. To get started, you should have a page loaded with the photos you want to edit and apply effects too. If you do not want to mess a page up, you can create a blank page and use one photo to practice on.
How to Edit Photos in Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact
Let’s begin with editing your photos in Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact. You will need to click the photo that you want to edit. This will select the photo and open the editing toolbar for you to edit your photos. Your photo editing toolbar is found right above your scrapbook page. You will see the different circle icons representing the editing tools. You can place your mouse over the icons to see what each one is. I will walk you through using a couple of them.
Increase Brightness – If you need to increase the brightness of your photo, you will need to click the orange orb with the plus sign. Each time you click it, the photo will become brighter.
Decreasing the Brightness – If you need to decrease the brightness of the photo, you will need to click the orange orb with the minus sign. The more you click it, the more the brightness will decrease.
To edit your photo more, use the tools in this toolbar.
How to Apply Effects to Your Photos in Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact
Next, I will show you how to apply effects to your photos. You will need to select the photo you want to apply the effects too. Then you will need to open your Format menu at the top of your program. In the menu, you will need to click the Filter Effects option. When the box opens, you can select the effect that you want to apply to the photo.
If you are using the free trial version of Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact, you will not be able to apply effects to your photos. You must upgrade before applying effects.
