I have written several articles about the TSA and terrorism recently. In the rush to get something finished in and around my other duties I’ve not been able to really dig in and put together an article that says all the things I would like to say on the subject. Now I don’t have too. Someone who is far more qualified than I, has written the definitive article on the subject.
Writing for The American Spectator, Mark Hyman says, ” In a previous career I was a U.S. intelligence officer stationed in London during the 1980s. I traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. I worked on terrorism and related issues. During that time I was in a small group that had access to a highly classified codeword program focusing on suspected terrorists and terrorism planning. Not a single alleged terrorist planner was ever caught or an anticipated attack thwarted as a result of this program. Yet, that did not stop the sponsors of the program from claiming incredible success.”
Mr. Hyman goes on to document the absurdity of the TSA and offers suggestions about how to fix the mess. The title of the article gives you an idea of what to expect: Disband The TSA.
This piece by Mark Hyman deserves wide circulation. I urge you to click and read the article for yourself. Then do this country a favor and forward the link to several friends. It is time to abolish the TSA and their dehumanizing practices. It’s time to replace security theater with the real thing.
