In our daily lives we all have something to worry about. Whether it’s our kids, our family, our job, and worse of all our finances. Even though it seems like you are working and earning cash, you aren’t making much, and are struggling to survive off of what meager cash they do bear. Countless people began to let go of that internet they feel they don’t need, how about that trip to Denver?, or eating out with the family.
One thing that many of us need, but are willing to let go for the sake of not breaking the bank, is our phone. Phone bills can cost anywhere from $30 to over $100 per month, which is a price that many cannot afford. Especially when some there are companies who overcharge their customer, and look down on you as if you are the bad guy. Think that’s bad? Well what about this: A dead man received a phone bill by Telekom Malaysia for the amount of $218 trillion, and if he did not pay within 10 days, legal action would be taken against him. What? Is probably what your thinking, but this is true and did actually happen, its listed as one of the worlds most largest phone bills. Crazy right?
Now, with that being said, here is where Magic Jack comes in to sweep you off your feet for only $19.95 per year, with a 30day trail, to test out the waters. I did a survey by examining 1,000 consumer reviews to understand what people thought of it. Out of the 1,000 consumers, I was only able to find 141 people that absolutely loved the product and had little or no problems with it. Twenty people had some kind of trouble, but felt like it worked fine afterward. Suddenly here comes the staggering 839 people that absolutely hated the product, and had I added more people to the 1,000 list, sadly the only number that would grow is the 839 people who disliked it.
Complaints that I read claimed that the quality of the phone was so bad that some people would have to experience the “phone breaking up” during conversation, or the phone not working at all for months without a refund. Other complaints were about fraudulent chargers, non responsive or non helpful customer service, technical issues, and saying that with the cost of shipping Magic Jack totaled up to $50 and not $19.95. Many even stated “you get what you paid for, something cheap”.
So what are you to do without this magical Magic Jack? Find a better deal! If your someone who is on the go throughout the day I suggest getting a cellphone such as a “pay by day” from AT&T with unlimited talk & text for only $2 each day you use it, or the Walmart “straight talk” phone with the same unlimited feature for $45 per month. If you still need a home phone I suggest Telstra they offer home phone service for only $20.95 per month
