On Wednesday DUMBO and the rest of downtown Brooklyn got a great view of a full rainbow. It formed a perfect arch across the water, with one end reportedly appearing to hit a building on 6th Avenue and Spring Street in Manhattan. The other end appeared to be in the Concord Village in Downtown Brooklyn.
Many of the photographs captured by Brooklyn photographers and posted around the web, as well as the videos shot by videographers and posted on YouTube, clearly show what appears to be a double rainbow. A double rainbow all the way.
That’s right. OMG. OMG. It was so intense.

No word yet on what type of bonus leprechauns pass out for a two-fer. Or if Hungrybear9562 is on his way to the borough to celebrate the remarkable, once in a… Well, remarkable sight regardless.
