Drew Carey weight loss news had already gotten out. But today, the Drew Carey weight loss was unveiled to TV audiences, as Drew Carey’s post-weight loss form stepped onto The Price Is Right stage. As the show started its 39’th season, it debuted a new game, a new announcer, and a brand new looking host. Throughout his career, Carey has had an overweight frame, but he worked hard during the summer to change that. As Price Is Right fans saw today, the Drew Carey weight loss did that and then some.
In late July, word got out that the Price Is Right host had lost 80 pounds since January. Beforehand, he had been heavyset for decades, and had fought off Type II diabetes. But he told People Magazine that he was “sick of being fat” and used a strict regime to change it.
The Drew Carey weight loss results were already seen online, as pictures of his new figure got out. Yet today, on The Price Is Right 39’th season premiere, the new Carey fully introduced himself. However, there were no jokes or comments about his new self, as he went on with hosting the game as normal.
This is Carey’s fourth season as Bob Barker’s replacement, and it is already his most notable one since his 2007 debut. While TV viewers may have been startled by the Drew Carey weight loss results, if they didn’t see it in July, they’ll have time to get used to it. Not only is The Price Is Right back on five days a week, Carey is also set to guest star on Community next month.
Losing 80 pounds in just several months sounds like something out of a weight loss infomercial. But Carey claims that he did this just by going to the gym, and having a strict diet of no carbohydrates. With 45 minutes of cardio, fruit, grilled chicken, steamed vegetables and water, he was able to get the results he wanted.
Carey told People that his final goal was to lose another 10 pounds, and to reach a size 32. Judging by the Drew Carey weight loss evidence today, it wouldn’t be surprising if he did it. Either way, even if he is still a size 33, he has thoroughly changed his image enough to make up for it. Of course, such an extreme change can produce complications later, but for now, he appears all right and fit.
Those who want to gawk at the Drew Carey weight loss can do so every morning on The Price Is Right, in between watching the famed game show itself.
