Who will join the celebrity contestant line-up for season 11 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)?
The official announcement is expected to come on Monday, August 30th (during Bachelor Pad),. But the Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) rumors are swirling faster than a whirling waltz, a break-dancing ballet or a fancy fox trot.
Here are just a few names of rumored Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) celebrity contestants: Kirstie Alley, Michael Bolton, Brandy, David Hasselhoff, Florence Henderson, Bristol Palin, Audrina Partridge, Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino, retired pro quarterback Kurt Warner and more.
Twelve celebrities will be paired with professional dancers for the reality television dance competition, which is slated to begin on September 20th on ABC.
Will Bristol Palin go from a Secret Life pro-abstinence cameo to live TV dancing on DWTS?
Bristol Palin (daughter of former Alaska Governor and 2008 U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin) is likely to join the ticket for Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) season 11. The Alaskan single mom and abstinence advocate, who turns 20 in October 2010, recently broke off her engagement (again) with baby daddy and headline-hunter Levi Johnston.
In the spring of 2010, Bristol Palin appeared in a single episode of ABC’s adolescent drama series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
But can Bristol Palin dance?
David Hasselhoff may join DWTS this fall.
Baywatch and Knight Rider star, recently roasted on Comedy Central, David Hasselhoff is also expected to trip the light fantastic on the 11th season of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS).
Also, Jersey Shore‘s Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino and The Hills’ Audrina Partridge are probable participants. R&B singer Brandy and soulful crooner Michael Bolton are undetermined as yet.
Kirstie Alley is unlikely to join Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) at this time, despite the show business rumors. In fact, the actress and weight loss spokeswoman (Kirstie Alley’s Big Life) published a personal Tweet (on her Twitter account) denying the Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) buzz.
“Just a rumor,” Kirstie Alley wrote on her Twitter page. “Imagine that. NOT doing DWTS this season… Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if Im invited again!!!” [sic]
The Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) grapevine also hinted that Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez (recently of The Bachelorette) might join the crew for season 11. However, Ali and Roberto are a do-si-don’t this time around.
