Anyone can now order dozens of Dynamo’s delicious and exotic flavored donuts, just make sure you place your online order at least 48 hours in advance. And, no, it is only for pick up, no delivery yet. You still have to crawl out of bed, but at least you can get freshly brewed coffee made out of beans from Four Barrel Coffee. Sara Spearin is the mad scientist/pastry chef behind such flavors as Maple Glazed Bacon Apple, Banana de Leche, Caramel de Sel and Spiced Chocolate. A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, she uses organic milk, flour and palm shortening in her concoctions, so you can feel less guilty when indulging. Dynamo is also one of the only places in the Mission to serve Gibraltars (double espresso in a shot glass with steamed milk, somewhere between a machiatto and a cappuccino), and the backyard patio is lovely and green. Dynamo is at 2760 24th Street and it is open 7am – 5pm, Tuesday-Saturday and from 9am to 4pm Sundays.
