Yes, there are easy exercises to help with lower back pain, some are necessary if you want to alleviate the suffering. It may sound strange but by strengthening other muscles, you can help to keep your back pain away, or at least less painful. One of the muscle groups that need to be strong, are the abdominal muscles. The following exercises for your abs are not strenuous, but always check with your doctor before doing any exercise, especially if you have a bad back.
Strong abdominal muscles support the lower back. When your abs are strong, it will help to take some of the strain off of your lower back. You are probably thinking that you cannot do exercises for your abs when your back is hurting, but you do not have to do the traditional sit ups to get a tight stomach.
One of the easy exercises that you can try for help with your lower back pain, is called the pelvic tilt. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your buttocks and stomach muscle, flatten your back down to the floor. Hold this position for a count of five and relax. Only do this back pain exercise, five times every day until you can slowly increase up to fifteen times.
If you cannot lie on your back, you can sit in a chair and do other easy lower back pain exercises that are not complicated, but will slowly tighten your abs. As you are sitting, hold onto the chair with your hands by your thighs. Tighten you stomach muscles, keeping your knees bent lift your legs as high as you can off of the floor. Do up to fifteen repetitions, next keep one foot on the floor and straighten the other leg. Lift the leg that is straight out up to fifteen times and then do the same with the other leg.
These few easy exercises to help with lower back pain are not complicated, and they will help to increase the muscles in your stomach, which will relieve some of the ache that you have in your back. If these back pain exercise are too much for you or the pain increases, stop, and see your doctor.
