If you are using the Elfin Photo Editor, this tutorial will show you how to frame photos in that program. You have quite a few frames to choose from in this program and adding the frames to your photos is pretty easy. You will need to load your Elfin Photo Editor program to get started.
Next, you will need to click File > Open at the top of your window to locate the photo you want to frame. Once you locate it, double click it to open it. If you already have the photo opened that you want to apply the frame to, you can skip the above instructions. Once you have your photo opened, you can move on.
Now you can go to the top of Elfin and click the Effects menu. When the menu opens, you will need to place your mouse on the Frames option. That will open a menu for the frames and you can click the Normal option first. We will take a look at the normal frames to begin with.
When the normal frames window opens, a frame will be automatically applied to your photo. Don’t worry, you can override this frame. In the box that opened, you will see the different frames you have to choose from. Clicking a frame will apply the frame to the photo you have opened. You can click through the different frames to find the one you want to use. When you find a frame you want to use and apply it, click the OK button on the box and it will close.
Now I will show you how to apply transparent frames to your photos. These frames are easy to apply and you can change the settings to what you want. Just a tip, the transparent frames look cool on top of some of the normal frames. So, if you applied a normal frame, you may want to try a transparent to see what it will look like.
To open the transparent frames, you will need to click the Effects menu, place your mouse on the Frames option and click Transparent in the menu that opens. When the Transparent Frame settings open, you will see a frame applied to your photo. In the settings box, you can adjust the settings to get the look you want. You will see the changes as you are making them. When you have the frame you want, you can click the OK button to apply it and close the frame settings box.
