Last night saw the premier of the latest in the Harry Potter series of movies, and thousands of Harry Potter fans turned up to see the members of the cast as well as other celebrities in London’s Leicester Square (see pictures), which was turned into a Harry Potter film set for the event.
Emma Watson looked amazing, wearing a vintage see-thru lace and feather black mini-dress that was created by Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer, complemented with black high-heeled shoes by Charlotte Olympia.
Gone is the shy 11 year old schoolgirl that turned up to the first Harry Potter movie premier 9 years ago, and in her place there stood a confident 20 year old beauty, who looked every bit the highest paid female star in Hollywood that she is.
Although the dress was short and revealing, it was anything but tacky, and to make sure there were no wardrobe malfunctions, the dress was fixed to her back using fashion tape.
The other main stars also looked stylish, a complete opposite of how they looked at the Warner Brothers party to celebrate the purchase of Leavesden Studios the night before.
Both Daniel Radcliffe (who plays Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (who plays Ron Weasley) wore dark suits, and it was good to see that all three were wearing Poppies, a tradition in the UK in honour of the fallen, and very appropriate too given that the movie premiere was held on Armistice Day, 11th November.
The other members of the cast were also at the movie premiere, as was Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.
