Mayans developed their Long Count Calendar into cycles five, they called these their great cycles of life. We are led to believe that the Mayans had predictions for all the cycles when they ended, and what it would bring.
- A jaguar came and ate everyone on Earth.
- The world ended in air.
- The world ended in fire.
- The world ended in a flood.
Now all though we may not make sense by these simple ends, the Mayans may have interpreted them in their own way, leaving it being confusing to us but to them it was clearer than ever. So that’s why we have so many different scepticisms of what will occur in the 5th cycle, our generation. Almost every year there is new books published on the Mayans.
What do you make of all the Mayans beliefs. If you remember there has been many religions, who have similar views of some kind of devastation, or new beginning happening. If you think about it we may only be so curious about the Mayans predictions due to the d-day being so close.
Predictions state that the world will sit in alignment with its natural course. Apparently the sun passes this natural enlightenment every 25,800 years, a long time, but the Earth is said to exist for 4.5 billion years, if this is correct this means the sun has been through this event more than 150,000 times already. Remarkable.
The past six times that the sun as been in alignment, humankind has walked the Earth, so it couldn’t of caused to much devastation. We are still here today.
Much newer discoveries lead us to a completely different conclusion, this was found in May of 2006. It has been proven through facts that the Milky Way is not our natural galaxy as believed. We are suggested to have a smaller galaxy, but we gravitationally broke away and we are now independent.
This could be to why we experience floods, earth quakes and other natural devastations, due to not being on our natural axis so when it tilts on the axis, it can for example, cause the ocean to spill over in masses onto land, in effect causing a mass flood.
They believe that we will be realigned with our rightful galaxy around 2012, which will naturally bring some changes. It is facts that the Milky Way is not our natural galaxy but when we come to line up, with our natural galaxy we are left uncertain to when exactly this will happen.
