I personally love my freckles, but a lot of adults hate them, and want to fade them. You can fade freckles naturally without a lot of expensive creams, and have the clear, smooth, freckle-free skin you’ve always wanted.
Lemon juice is a great natural way to fade freckles naturally. Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent, and is also great for helping to fade scars (I used lemon juice to fade a purple scar on my butt in just a little over a week). The acids in lemon juice when applied to the face help break down scarring, and help bleach freckles away naturally. Simply apply lemon juice to your face with your fingers or a cloth, allow to set for 10 minutes or so, then rinse off. Repeat daily until you get the desired freckle fading you want. You can also leave the lemon juice on your face and just apply moisturizer on top of it for day long fading.
Sour cream is another remedy for removing and fading freckles naturally. Apply a mask of sour cream to your face, then allow it to dry for about 15 minutes. Once again, the acids and cultures in the sour cream help fade the freckles, and after you allow the cream to set, rinse off with warm water and apply moisturizer as needed.
Yellow mustard mixed with milk and then applied to the face overnight to be washed away the next morning is a decent remedy to fade freckles naturally. This does need to be left on overnight, and should be repeated nightly until you get the freckle fading results you want.
To help diminish and fade freckles naturally all over the body, such as the shoulders, legs, arms, and the face, make a natural freckle fading moisturizer by simply adding lemon juice, orange juice, and red currant juice (equal parts of each) to your regular daily moisturizer to gradually fade your freckles every day over time. The acids in these natural fruits break down and fade the freckles all day in your homemade freckle reducing moisturizer.
In my experience, lemon juice alone works great to ease discoloration on the body. As mentioned above, I used lemon juice (applied twice a day) to fade a nasty looking scar on my butt, which was purple and raised (I sat on a piece of glass about 6 years ago, and it left the weird scar). Within less than 2 weeks, I noticed the scar fade to almost a white color, and the raised appearance of the scar was gone. The scar is hardly noticeable now, and I have the lemon juice to thank for it. If it can handle a fairly gnarly scar, imagine what it could do for an innocent freckle.
