Clinton Hill parents can enroll their children at the Children Academy Fall 2010 at Long Island University’s (LIU) Brooklyn Campus. The program also offers classes for adults so parents can partake in educational, athletic and creative activities.
The program begins Saturday, October 9th and runs for the course of 10 weeks. Class subjects include robotics, moviemaking, ballet, theater, fashion design and even swimming for children ages 3 to 12. Parents can sign up for Spanish, yoga, dance or Total Body Workout classes. There are also athletic activities like basketball, tennis, soccer and softball to name a few.
Families can also become members of LIU’s Brooklyn Campus community and receive discounts on classes and access to the campus Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center.
