Some people want to read a good, detailed video game review before making a purchase. It lets them know what they may be in for, and if it’s worth their time. Fallout: New Vegas is already seeing such reviews surface on the internet, even though the release date is set for October 19th– that’s tomorrow– in North America. Some may be content to just psych themselves up checking out the anticipatory gamefan sites or the Fallout: New Vegas wiki site, but there is a little bit more information available now, finally, to the more curious gamers who just can’t wait to see for themselves.
Is it that you want to know mostly a little more about the characters and the voices in the new Fallout: New Vegas game? Darren Mauler at Ripten provides a 3 minute video that may interest you. They have a screenshot of the game at Ripten as well, and the video they show for the Developer Diary about the characters features Wayne Newton.
People may be happy to learn how large the game is (and thus, how long it may take to complete), reports Peter Chubb at Product Review News. One of the things that Attack of the Fanboy loved was that there didn’t seem to be any shortage of things to do, people to talk to, and more in Fallout: New Vegas.
But, that doesn’t mean of course that there were not any bad reviews of Fallout: New Vegas. Attack of the Fanboy continues that even though he was used to the glitches from Fallout 3, this game was ridiculous. Certain scenarios would cause lock-ups and the game had to be restarted several times. Yikes!
The fans are excited and have been for a while, which is probably why people have been trying to get Fallout: New Vegas on Torrent (is that how some of the early reviewers are doing it? If so, is this the cause of some of their dilemmas?), but remember that the official release date for the game is October 19th, 2010 in North America, so try to at least hang in for one more day. The common consensus is that it’s a huge game with a lot to do– which may or may not also be the game’s downfall.
