Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1403-1472 – Joannes/Basilius Bessarion, archbishop of Nicaea, he was one of the most learned scholars of his time.
1614-1672 – John Wilkins was an English Bishop of Chester; he was founder of the Royal Society
?-1703- Man in the Iron Mask was a prisoner in Bastille prison in Paris, was held for a period of 34 years, a movie was made about him.
1711-1772 – William Nelson was an American colonial governor of Virginia and an American planter, his son Thomas Nelson Jr. signed the Declaration of Independence
1879-1915 – Joe Hill Labor leader/songwriter, executed for murder, Swedish American labor activist
1870-1954- Walter Bartley Wilson was the founding member of Cardiff City Football Club
1827-1967 – Charles J. Watters was a famous US Army chaplain, Medal of Honor recipient who rescued wounded men in Vietnam during the battle of Dak To, he was killed in a friendly fire incident.
1907-1971 – Bill Stern was a famous sportscaster (Saturday Night Fights), first telecast of a Major League Baseball Game, inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
1901-1992 – Dorothy Walker Bush was the mother of President George H. Bush and grandmother of President George Bush
1971-1994 – Dedrick Gobert was a US actor who played “Dooky” in Boyz ‘n the Hood, shot to death at 22 over an argument over an illegal drag race in California.
1984-1997 – Christina Corrigan was an obese girl (680 lbs.), dies at 13; mother is convicted of child abuse in the case, received three years of probation and 240 hours of community service.
1955-2007 – Kevin DuBrow was an American lead singer for the group Quiet Riot from a cocaine overdose
