Arizona Cardinals WR Steve Breaston underwent surgery today to repair a torn meniscus in his knee. Breaston was very hobbled during last Sunday’s game against the Raiders and so it was decided it would be best to have the surgery now with the bye coming up in Week 6. Right now the thinking is that Breaston should be ready to go right after the bye week.
Analysis: Tough blow for Breaston owners but he figures to miss only two games. Breaston has looked good so far this season but having Derek Anderson at QB and Larry Fitzgerald cobbling up most of the catches will depress his overall value.
