Despite not having any broken ribs, the prognosis for Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is still not pretty as it appears the fractured cartilage could cost him up to six weeks. Vick is reportedly still in incredible pain and ESPN anchor Trent Dilfer stated that this is one of the worst injuries a QB can suffer due to the fact it ruins all the mechanics of throwing the ball. Kevin Kolb will start in his place this Sunday and for the foreseeable future.
Analysis: Not good news at all as Vick is struggling just to live his life right now with the intense pain he is feeling right now. Breathing is even painful with this type of ailment so for now the storybook comeback for Vick will be put on hold and fantasy football owners who thought they hit the jackpot are going to have to look for a stopgap.
