Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a third degree separation of his groin muscle. Portis originally injured the groin during last Sunday’s game against the Eagles and an MRI revealed the extent of the issue. Ryan Torain will take over in his place and its doubtful Portis will make much of an impact when he returns.
Analysis: This pretty much symbolizes the end of Clinton Portis as a fantasy football commodity. In the meantime Ryan Torain becomes an immediate pick up in all leagues as he has shown nice ability when he has gotten the chance. Torain is not much of a receiver at this point but he is a nice one cut runner who has the ability to bull ahead for tough yardage. Go make the move now.
