Eagles QB Michael Vick has resumes throwing this week in practice as he tires to get himself back in time for this Sunday’s game against his former team the Atlanta Falcons. Coach Andy Reid and the team’s medical staff have called it an extreme longshot that Vick would be ready to go that quick but he is back on the field at the very least after suffering cracked rib cartilage a week and a half ago.
Analysis: There is no way that Vick will be back in action this Sunday but the week after is a likely proposition. Kevin Kolb will start in his place and he is not a recommended option. Hold onto Vick if you are an owner and get ready to activate him next week.
