Some fantasy football gems are emerging as solid contributors and the injuries to some earlier dropped players now make them legitimate weapons to add to your fantasy squad. Week 10 in fantasy football is critical as the fantasy playoffs in some leagues start in Week 14. Week 10 is also the final bye week for the NFL so it’s time to put together that stud line-up that won’t change and have your great match-up players ready to take the field. For those interested in the Prime 2010 Fantasy League, I defeated the first place G-Force moving my team into a tie for first place in our division. However, at a record of 6 – 2, we are both behind the 7 -2 Jarheads for best record in the league, but he has the Game Changers right behind him at 6 – 3. Hopefully, they don’t read this article and use my own advice against me. Here is the list. Go get these guys immediately if available in your league.
David Thomas TE – New Orleans Saints
As of the time of this article, Thomas is available in 99% of fantasy leagues. Thomas is the great receiving tight end and Jeremy Shockey was taken to the hospital during the Saints victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. Shockey is often injured and with Reggie Bush returning to catch passes out of the backfield, this may provide Thomas with more opportunities.
Blair White WR – Indianapolis Colts
With the Colts running backs and receiving corps all banged up, White may begin seeing substantially more playing time. He is available in 95% of all fantasy leagues and you will always be a throwing team with Peyton Manning at the helm of your offense.
David Garrard QB – Jacksonville Jaguars
With the Houston Texans in week 10 and the Cleveland Browns in week 11, Garrard has the benefit of having great match ups in his schedule. He is available in 34% of the leagues and may be very attractive as some of the headliner quarterbacks are on a bye in week 10.
John Kuhn RB – Green Bay Packers
You’ve got problems if you’re looking for a running back in week 10, but Kuhn could be a good flex player as the Packers like his power running style and he should get the majority of the goal line carries. Also, Kuhn is still available in 89% of all fantasy leagues.
