One of the desert’s most spectacular events, Fashion Week El Paseo, is set to kick off a fabulous week of fashion on March 20th-28th, 2011. The 8-days of fabulous festivities will feature a slew of events including fashion shows, trunk shows, expert panels, charity events, in-store events, fab parties, and plenty of other fun programs.
Attendees of Fashion Week El Paseo will also have the honor of seeing the newest collections from West Coast couture designer Oliver Tolentino, and retro styles by L.A. designer Trina Turk. In addition to these fine collections, emerging designers from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) will also be showcasing their latest talents in Palm Desert’s most celebrated shopping district. Known as the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert”, El Paseo features over 300 stores for plenty of shopping, fantastic food, and non-stop fun for the fashion forward.
Fashion Week El Paseo in Palm Desert is a well-known event in the desert, not only for the amazing fashions and designers it brings to the area, but the generous donations it has made to many charities. Last year the event raised and donated more than $60,000 to charities in need. This year’s proceeds from Fashion Week El Paseo events will benefit Bighorn BAM, Desert Outreach, and Girlfriend Factor charities.
Tickets for Fashion Week El Paseo can be purchased for reserved seating and general admission on a show-by-show basis, with prices ranging from $25-$115, depending on the show. For ticket information and purchasing, click here.
