Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida offers 3 fireworks cruises. These cruises are private, and include a captain, snacks, and beverages. For an additional cost, banners and balloons can be added to that special celebration. Or, call ahead, and have a cake delivered for an additional fee. Make it a romantic evening for two, or bring your whole family aboard. Either way, these cruises are sure to delight even the pickiest guest.
The Wishes cruise takes you around the beautiful Seven Seas Lagoon. Boats can be picked up at any of the Magic Kingdom Resort marinas: the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, the Contemporary, or the Wilderness Lodge. Your voyage begins with a cruise around the lagoon. Your captain may point out some resort history, or throw in some Disney trivia. Next, a front and center view of the Electrical Water Pageant. Music is piped into your boat. This mini parade on the water is all about lights and sound. Finally, your captain will align your boat with Cinderella’s castle, and Wishes begins. Jiminey Cricket will be your narrator. Again, sound is piped in. When the show has ended, your captain will sail you back to the resort in which you picked up your boat.
The second Wishes cruise is picked up at the Contemporary Resort only. It’s called the Pirate and Pals Fireworks cruise. This cruise starts with snacks and beverages in the resort with the evil Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Pictures and autographs are encouraged. Your boat will hold up to 60 passengers. This also makes an awesome Grand Gathering Cruise, if you are having a family reunion. You set sail around the Seven Seas Lagoon, and watch both the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes. On the return voyage, your captain reads to you the delightful tale of Peter Pan. As your ship docks, you are then treated to a surprise guest. Have your cameras ready…
Your last cruise is Illuminations, Reflections of Earth. It is picked up at the Yacht and Beach Club marina. Your boat holds up to 6 guests, perfect for a family, or bring along some friends. You are taken to Epcot to watch the show. It is a combination of lasers and fireworks. Music is piped into your boat as well. Snacks and beverages are also included in the cost of your trip. These include: chips, popcorn, soda, and bottled water.
