Looking forward to chillin’ with some tunes on Friday night? Like local music? Then don’t miss First-Stop Fridays at your Ferndale Public Library on the first Friday of every month. First-Stop Fridays bills itself as an after-hours local music showcase. First-Stop Fridays are free. Just stop by the Ferndale Public Library at 222 E. Nine Mile Rd. on your way downtown for Friday night fun. No ID, no cover charge, no fees, just a great sampling of local talent. Shows begin at 6:30 and run for two hours and feature local musicians, singers and songwriters. Coming up for Friday, October 1, 2010, Timothy Monger State Park and The Bell Beat.
