Long considered by many to be one of the superlative destination resorts in the North Atlanta area, “Chateau Elan” offers up a cornucopia of epicurean getaway packages that appeal to the palate as well as the pocketbook.
The resort’s management currently offers five, fabulous epicurean getaway packages that range in price from $199 to $470 per couple.
What follows is a brief summary of the packages and how to make reservations.
Wine Tasting Experience for Two Package
The more modest, monthly $199 “Wine Tasting Experience for Two” package is ever changing and offers self proclaimed wine aficionados a chance to pontificate about and sample a variety of international and domestic varietals.
In addition to participation in the 1 ½ hour wine tasting event, the package includes a beautifully appointed guest room located amongst décor and landscape reminiscent of a romantic, French love story and use of the resort’s sensational amenities.
Wine and Dine Package
Though the most pedestrian of the five, the $349 “Wine and Dine” package is still worth considering for those that desire comfortable accommodations, award winning wines and a choice of dining in either the open-air of the renowned “Versailles Restaurant” or inside the Mediterranean inspired “Café Élan.”
Chateau Culinary Tour Package
Much like the “Wine and Dine”, the $399 “Chateau Culinary Tour” package is pedestrian in nature but full of value and variety. Unlike the “Wine and Dine” those guests partaking of the “Chateau Culinary Tour” package receive a $150 meal allowance that can be redeemed in any of the “Chateau Élan’s” celebrated seven restaurants.
Considered exquisite jewels on “Chateau Élan’s” crown, each of the seven restaurants have different motifs and menus that when combined are like a “best of” whirl-wind world tour. Cuisine ranges from minimalistic health minded fare to the rich regional cuisines of France, Ireland, the Mediterranean and the American South.
Winemaker Wanna Be Package
The $259 “Winemaker Wanna Be” package delivers a highly personalized, high value epicurean experience that guest’s can’t help but adore.
The uber-private package includes a guided winery tour and tasting, a chance to create a custom blended and labeled libation, superior lodging, seemingly infinite access to amenities and breakfast in the “Versailles Restaurant.”
The most decadent of the five, the $470 “Epicurean Escape” package provides as much verve to epicurean enthusiasts as creating vintage vines brings to viticulturists. The package includes much the same as the other four except with a special twist; a visit to the “Culinary Studio by Viking.”
Those even remotely familiar with cooking will need no introduction to the “Viking” moniker. Guest’s fortunate enough to partake of this package will get to enjoy an amazing wine and food pairing experience within the confines of the resort’s impressive 1,600 foot modern day culinary Mecca.
Those looking to make reservations for any of the “Chateau Élan’s” five epicurean packages may do so either online or by calling 678-425-0900 extension 41. Would-be guests should note that there is a non-refundable advance deposit and cancellation policy, details of which are listed on the hotel’s website.
Furthermore, as package elements, policies, prices and availability are subject to change at any time without advance notice, interested parties are encouraged to call the hotel staff directly to confirm all details.
