Old King Kong was a merry old gorilla
And a merry old gorilla was he;
He called for his bananas, and he called for his maiden
And he called for his drummers three.
Every drummer had a fine drum,
And a very fine drum had he;
Oh there’s none so rare, as can compare
With King Kong and his drummers three.
Now Old King Kong loved to swing to the beat
And he swung from tree to tree.
He pounded on his chest.
He was behaving at his best,
But grew angry when his guests would flee.
