If you’ve ever wondered what’s inside that huge brick building at the corner of Mission and 14th Street, then this is your chance to find out! A tour of the San Francisco Armory and Arsenal is coming up this Oct. 8, free of charge.
The employees of Kink.com are leading the Armory tour. Kink.com is an adult video production company that acquired the building at the end of 2006.
Set aside about an hour for the tour. You can expect to see all five floors of the Mission’s most mysterious building, but only the first floor is wheelchair accessible. You’ll get to see the facilities originally built to service the National Guard and all the sets that have been built by Kink.com’s art department for production. For this reason, all visitors to the building will need to be over the age of 18. Photography is allowed but video is not.
The free tour takes place on Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. Other tours are available on Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. Tickets for those tours cost $20 online through Brown Paper Tickets. The official address is 1800 Mission Street.
