“Fringe” is a great one hour television super Sci-Fi series which airs on Thursday nights on the Fox29 Network. “Fringe” is in its 3rd season. Week after week “Fringe” really pushes the envelope with their very well thought out scripts which have to do with the following topics: telepathy, wormholes, precognition, Tran humanism, and Biotechnology just to name a few.
Fringe has Humor
“Fringe” has some incredibly funny moment which can always cause viewers to let out a bit of an unexpected chuckle. Sometimes, mad scientist, Walter Bishop’s actions are surprisingly funny.
Fringe has Character Peter Bishop
Peter Bishop is a character who is played by actor Joshua Jackson. Peter Bishop, although highly intelligent, is not your average science loving geek with a high IQ. He isn’t an arrogant know it all who uses highly technical language. In fact, Peter is the one who usually breaks down and put into layman’s term the scientific ramblings of Dr. Walter Bishop. And this is what makes Peter so appealing.
“Fringe” is an excellent television series to watch simply because of its mythological storyline. It may seem like every week the “Fringe” team handles a different case, but each episode always connect back to the mythology that there is an alternate universe and other dimensions. “Fringe” always stay closely on topic with its science fiction plots.
Fringe fills the void of Lost
You should watch “Fringe” if you are a fan of the Lost television series. Lost has left many people with a void to fill. And “Fringe” is definitely up for the job. “Fringe” is filled with great story lines week after week. The show’s mythology is a little more science fiction based unlike; the Lost series mythology which was more faith based. “Fringe” gives viewers what they need most, and that is the next television fix.
Fringe has Action
Every week no matter what “Fringe” is about, the show offers its viewers plenty of action. Weather Olivia is chasing down a psychopath who uses probability and statistics to cause accidents or if she is trying to escape from the alternate universe, “Fringe” truly delivers the right dose of action.
There are a lot of great reasons why you should watch “Fringe”. If you like science fiction then tune into Fox29 every Thursday night.
