Furry Vengeance, starring Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser, is a great movie for the entire family. Adults will be amused by it and kids will laugh throughout the entire time.
Dan & Tammy Sanders (Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser) move out of Chicago to go near the forest for a year because of Dan’s job. They have a 16 year old son who is having a difficult time adjusting to his new environment. He basically has no friends now.
Dan’s job is building several homes in the forest. Therefore, the furry animals such as beavers, squirrels and raccoons are taking vengeance on him in everything that he does. I will just mention a few things that they do. The rest you can see for yourself when you watch the movie. I will not comment on the ending either. That is always the best part to see.
One animal causes Dan to go off of the road while driving. It will just not get out of his way. He gets out of the car and yells at the animal to move out of the way but he does not. This causes Dan to be late for a meeting for his job. Whenever his boss calls him on his cell, he is always in the middle of having encounters with these animals. In the mean time, his wife and son are worried because Dan’s car has gone off of a cliff and he is no where to be found.
Dan’s wife and son realize that Dan has been acting very strange lately. They are not aware of his encounters with these animals. While at home trying to sleep, a crow keeps on pecking on the window sill. Dan moves all over the house to try and get away from all the noise. No matter where he moves to, the animals follow him and make noises which do not allow him to get any rest.
Another vengeance is when Dan is on his treadmill and a raccoon sneaks up behind him and pulls out the plug. This causes him to fall over the handle bars into the television screen that he is watching. The television also falls and breaks.
If you are looking for a fun evening with the family, this is the movie to watch.
