Kinect launched on November 4, 2010 in America. It is due to launch elsewhere around the 10th November, 2010. This is a new type of addition to the Xbox 360 whereby you’ve allowed to play interactively. You just get your body into full view of the sensor on the Kinect and then you start to play your game without any remote. It is all done by moving your body or hands and it keeps you fit as well. It also helps avoid the damage that thrown remotes caused in the past.
The cost of Kinect
Buying Kinect really depends on the sort of equipment that you already have. If you do not have an Xbox 360 already then you will want to get a Kinect console bundle. The cost is around $399.99 for the 250gb Xbox bundle and $299.00 250gb Xbox bundle. Both of the bundles have the Kinect sensor and also a copy of Kinect Adventures game included.
If you already have an Xbox 360 then you will only have to buy the Kinect sensor itself. This sells for around $149.99 and also comes with Kinect Adventures.
The amount of space a Kinect Requires
You need to have your entire body in view on the Kinect all the time for it to work properly, so make sure you have plenty of space between you and the sensor. It is recommended that you have at least six feet between you and the Kinect sensor for any single player game and eight feet for a two player game.
