A few of these monthly techniques might not be an option for you. I will give examples of other ways on some months that you can improvise if the one situation doesn’t work for you. The main point is to get healthier and more in shape in twelve months time.
January is the best month to start your new plan-hence New Year’s. You have to set your mind to wanting to be fin better shape. Join a gym but be careful. Negotiate a membership deal or just sign up for what you actually want to partake in. If you can’t afford a gym membership there are many activities that you can do without costs. Intervals of running and walking, you can lift weights at home and you can also purchase DVD’s of exercise programs to help you get started.
February is the time when items in stores get marked down to really great prices. Invest in a machine that is best suited for your needs. Make sure you do your research on the machine you plan to purchase. The key here is to use the machine after you purchase it.
In March, you have already had two months on your own. It is time to consider getting a work out buddy. Everybody needs a little motivation just make sure that both of you understand this.
April is time to start thinking serious. The temperature and weather will start to improve. Invest in a few amazing workout clothes and get outside. You will find you have more options as far as exercising goes.
May might be month for you to try something different. If you have been doing strength training you might want to incorporate some yoga and/or cardio to your workout.
June is the month to start targeting those trouble spots aggresively, especially if you are going to the beach.
In July indulge in a hot new bathing suit. Take up swimming which is a great workout or get a group of friends together for beach volleyball. Keep yourself hydrated well.
August you need to be very careful. The heat and humidity levels during this month are generally higher. Focus on indoor activities that will keep you in shape.
September is the month to incorporate another routine. The key is to not get bored, you will be more likely to quit exercising.
October you should really think about your routine for the colder months. Purchase new equipment and don’t forget about purchasing new tennis or aerobic shoes as well. You need to find a shoe that works well and will support your feet for the training and exercising you do.
November is when you should have your routine down pat. If you get frustrated at anytime, try something new. Switch partners or routines. You have to be comfortable with your workout for you to be motivated to keep at it.
December is a hectic month. Keep fit by shrinking your workout by half. This will give you plenty of time to enjoy the holiday season.
The main key is to maintain focus, switch it up when you are bored and to keep active.
