Our lives are 24 hours in a day, 365 days a year. If we use Pareto’s Law, 80/20, what percentage of your time did you happy? It is difficult to answer. It’s depending on the context.
When I asked my wife, the psychologist, she said it was difficult to answer. She asked me, “Rich or poor? Educated or not?” Wealth or education according to her opinion is one of the indicators of people happy or not. That, too, there is no certainty that the rich 100% happy. It is certain in one day what else one year, there were times when people feel a bad mood, sad and unhappy.
Suppose that the example in this article is on your own, and you enter the category of people who are optimistic and always grateful. Because as mentioned earlier it is impossible throughout the day in one year you are always happy. Therefore, there are times when you are unhappy. So, let’s say in one day, 20% of your time unhappy. That 80% you were happy.
My next question, are you proud and thankful to God in the area at 80% or 20%? It means if you are grateful in the 80 area then you were grateful just at the time you are happy, when all the hearts, minds and feelings controlled by happy atmosphere. In the area of 20%, you forget to give thanks. If so in reality, you are not a freak. You are a normal human.
“Lots of people gave thanks to God when they are in a good condition and be blessed. In a state of blessed, thanks to God it was easy. However, can we give thanks to God when there is a problem?” wrote pastor Lidya Dewi Yana in her book “Mujizat Masih Ada” (Miracles Still There).
In the 80 area to say Thanksgiving is normal. Obviously, everything is available. That is not normal is when we give thanks in the 20 area while all things are not available.
Henceforth try to change the paradigm. Even though you were in the 20 area, area unhappy and bad mood, stay thankful. Although at the time your company’s target production slumped, sales targets not achieved, profits declined, at the time you dizzy thinking about how to pay debts and taxes, at the same time there are your employees who have asked for a rise of salary. Try changing paradigm, although you have a headache keep remains give thanks and serve your employees with a positive.
If you succeed to change the paradigm, you truly are blessed people of God. Believe me. It is not only your joy. Your staff was excited. Not only that, your company, although must not be spectacular, but it is going to continue to grow and last forever. It can be inherited on to children and grandchildren.
In principal, in the area 20%, an area full of trouble you are grateful what else in the area 80%. This means that in a whole day and whole year you gave thanks. In the 20 area you are happy, what else at 80.
Teach your employees how to thanks to God, so your employee’s productivity will increase.
Your employee is as same as you. There was a time not in the mood, tired, listless, bored, burnout and face many problems. From the issue of money, lack of office facilities, lack of opportunity to meet other people. Difficult to get extra money, etc. When your career and your business grow. They are continuous to be stacked and below you. Do not be a surprise if eventually they easily dominated by disappointed and desperate.
Teach them give thanks and accept state, accept the Lord during sad and unhappy. Your new paradigm is an example that they cannot be denied. Invite them to read Isaiah 60 and 61. Invite them to pray together in all situations. Ask God to work. Your New Paradigm must make God always hear your exclamation and grant it. Believe me.
The result, productivity and performance of your employees must be increased.
Why is that? Working with a Thanksgiving it means we work for God. And why is it going to work? Bible in Thessalonians, Romans and Isaiah have proven it.
Rewards and Punishment Already Stale
Logically, in the new paradigm you become a positive person, and your employees will see it. Every entrepreneur misses his employees grew, growing their ability, expertise and services on the customer. Eventually, the employee’s productivity and performance are raised.
So, the old paradigm that teaches about the system of reward and punishment, that if it fails to pursue the target you have the two options, you give your threats or give a reward to employees, please leave it. Why? In the end, both of you feel misery. Giving a threat is uncomfortable on both sides. Giving rewards there is an additional cost.
So, give thanks to God. And if your company was declining in all sectors, divisions and department, do not be confused. Use the law of love in the Pareto Principle. Give thanks, please.
Before reading the closing paragraph is worth following what have pastor Lydia wrote. “It’s easy to be happy when everything goes according to our wishes. But what about the rest of our lives? Are we only happy when everything goes as we expect? If so, you would feel an unhappy lot in your life, brothers.” So give thanks in all circumstances.
